I mean we're going to make some stuff real interesting.

Yeah. Or both. But anyway, what I want to start off with today

is the Defense Production Act.

Everybody knows what the Defense Production Act is.

Maybe. Yeah. Well the Defense Production Act has been around for a long time.

And in theory, if you're a hawk, you love it because it provides total

nationalization of everything if there's an emergency and the president gets declared

when the emergency occurs. So it's really the only thing that could keep

the president from becoming a dictator rapidly by using that would be public

opinion. But the technical law provides that to happen because it just

challenges everything is in the Constitution. But it comes and goes, I

a little bit more aware of it than some because it was sort of a pet peeve

of mine that this is a much power was established there and it could be

involved just about any time they wanted. So I would always ask to strike that

when that bill came up. But of course anybody who thought they knew a little bit

about wow, we have to have this emergency. What are the Russians invade?

You know this sort of thing. So but it's been used.

Budness is, he's talking about using again and he's made proposals for it.
