Welcome to the program today, Mata Gonzalez here in studio, and I have with me Graham Keelan

0:06.0

all the way from England and many of you will remember some of our previous episodes, but if you

0:11.5

haven't, make sure to go to our YouTube channel and scroll down or just type in Graham's name.

0:18.4

And you'll see we've been discussing really the kind of like the past,

0:23.1

present and the future of the nation of Israel, the city of Jerusalem, salvation as it relates

0:29.5

to Jesus being really the epitome of Israel, and also what we look forward to. And God has a lot

0:36.9

to say, and there's a lot of theological understanding and many of you

0:40.3

have enjoyed these conversations as it relates to understanding the continuity between what

0:46.3

God started with the person of Abraham all the way to the person of Jesus in the first century.

And here we are living in an age. Well now we're living in a different age

0:56.0

1:08.6

we've talked a little bit about that. But what we want to do

1:11.2

now is kind of trace the history, how God has not abandoned the Jews. They will always be the

1:17.3

covenant people of God, also the covenants, what that means as well, and what it looks like through

1:23.0

church history. And so to me, this is a fascinating conversation that we're having. We're going to get

1:28.8

into some of the details of how God has moved and also the centrality of the land. We've talked

1:34.4

before about whose land is it? Well, it's God's land. It's not even specifically Abraham's land or

1:40.7

Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob's land or Israel. It is because he gave it to him.

1:45.8

But ultimately, this is God's land and he has the plan and the story of redemption.

1:51.4

And so we're going to continue to get into that.

1:52.9

But Graham, welcome back.
