Welcome to Our Henhouse. This is Jasmine Singer. And this is Marianne Sullivan, live from New York City.

I'm sure they saw the marquee. And this week, Marianne will be speaking with Zainep Salimus, a Turkish activist who is

spreading the word about animals with her powerful graphics work for Save Movement, which is now

being used by activists all over the world. It's so cool. And she'll also tell us all about the

animal rescue efforts during the really horrific Turkish

earthquake earlier this year.

This is an interview that I know no one else is doing.

I'm very excited that we were able to connect with her because there's some powerful stuff here.

Yeah, I didn't really know what to expect.

And I just love this interview.

So yeah, I hope you do as well to expect and I just love this interview. So yeah, I hope

you do as well. I just always love it when we connect with really passionate vegan animal

activists from other countries, places I've never been, places I've never thought of and

just realized that we're everywhere. Yeah, I always think that when I'm leaving thank you videos to our donors,

and I'm like, I wish you were on this side sometimes to see how many flock members there are

because we're everywhere, like all over the world.

And right now we are in New York City where we ran our henhouse for many, many years.

And we're here on sort of a vacation.

I think it's definitely a vacation.

Yes.

I've said sort of because I worked this morning and we're technically working right now.

But it is a, yes, we're seeing a lot of Broadway plays, which is wonderful that we get to do that.
