And today, it's not a morning. It's an afternoon because there are few people that are special enough guests to make sure we move to their availability.

And Derek Classen of the athletic football show is absolutely one of them.

Derek, you came on with us before the season.

We talked a little hawks.

It was great and great to have you back.

How's life?

I'm glad to be back.

I mean, life is crazy. It's, you know, you get used to the most of the ebbs and flows of have you back. How's life? I'm glad to be back. I mean, life is crazy.

It's, you know, you get used to the most of the ebbs and flows of the football season.

But this year with the athletic football show, we've got a studio in Chicago now. But I'm based in California. So we've been doing a little bit of back and forth there. So a little bit crazy. but it's, I mean, this is the point of the season where I feel like things start to actually coalesce

and you feel like

you can talk about things in a meaningful manner. So I'm pretty excited. Well, I mean, it seems like

Roberts getting a little preferential treatment. Like if the studio is in Chicago, I mean,

you're in the West Coast. Like the West Coast is where all the, you know, media should be existing. I don i don't know man maybe that studio should be out your way you you would think but you know i'll give them credit chicago's a little bit of a cooler city than fresno california so i mean maybe maybe that's the decided there uh well amazing stuff at the athletic football show definitely one one of the podcasts I listen to each and every week.

And I was really eager to have you on because, one, I always respected your analysis of all things going on with football.

But two, you know, when we talked the first time, you were among the folks that were skeptical about what was going on with the Seahawks.

And you and I had, I think, a really fun back and forth about how that would work out.

And I've been wrong about quite a few things regarding this team and around other things.

I'll say I've been wrong about Matt Stafford looking like I thought he was

going to look like the guy he was last year he looks a lot better um but you know after the Arizona

game you know you made some comments about uh your perspective on the Seahawks offense and

for folks isn't here like what what's what's your perspective then and and what is it now
