Well, here we are.

This is Jay Brown Yoga Talks podcast. My name is Jay Brown.

And this is at least the fifth take I've done trying to get this intro down.

I wanted to come in with big energy.

I had this idea to just come in and say,

hey, fancy me and you here.

Come on in and like try to have some big inviting energy but it just felt

wrong didn't feel right and i thought why why what's going on and then it hit me oh right

we've been watching videos of black men getting executed in the

street and broad daylight and Minnesota's burning. Oh, right. The country's falling apart.

And you know what's really haunting to me, and if you've been around, you might remember this.

I have a very specific memory of saying on this show,

how bad does it have to get before we start to go to the streets and throw rocks and windows?

I remember saying that when we're talking about the elections and stuff and maybe we've

gotten there.

Maybe we've gotten to that point.

And it's not just easy to say, hey, people shouldn't be burning stuff.

No, it's not that easy to say that.

And people want to talk about looting

what about all the looting that happened on wall street

way worst looting happening there

it is really stark and frightening imagery
