Hello and welcome to the TIFO football podcast. I'm Joe Devine and today I was delighted to be joined by

Eddie Mengham and Martino Simpsick from Copper 90 who both participate in making the Derby Days

series that you may have seen on YouTube. It's on the Copper Stories

channel or as New Home is the Copper Stories channel on YouTube. If you haven't seen any of the

Derby Days episodes, essentially the thrust is that Ellie as a presenter with the team of other

people from Copper 90, including Martino, go and travel to various big game

derbies all across the world. So some of the more recent ones, and the most recent one was the

Lombardia Derby. The one that's referenced in the episode quite a lot, because I watched

it again just before we started recording, was the Berlin Derby. So between and Herter that episode is nearly an hour long or

something so I think the most recent series they've been let off the leash a little bit in

terms of the length of them and some of the other decision making so they're really long they're

really in depth they're really interesting and as part're really interesting. And as part of the episodes,

the guys try to paint a picture of a city, explain why the Derby is the way that it is,

and talk about the history of the teams and the rivalry and the history of the city in the area as well. And they're really fascinating. So if you are listening to today's episode,

and you haven't seen any of the Derby

Days videos, it may benefit your enjoyment of this episode to go and watch one or two before

you listen. You don't need to, and it's explained what they are. And we talk a lot about the

process behind making them, which I think would be similar to other sorts of filmmaking as well.

So it's not a requirement you don't need to have listened to.

But they're fantastic.
