Welcome into Tom Caron's Patriots talk podcast featuring Phil Perry, day five.

We're actually practiced five of training camp for the New England Patriots.

First day in Pads and Phil, we have deep concerns already about the Patriots' depth

at a variety of positions.

Also, we're going to hit on Zeke Elliott and the quest for a back behind Remandre,

Pop Douglas Poppin, Matt Jones at number 23 in the athletic QB tiers,

and an overlooked Matthew Slater quote from last week. Yes, there was a long pause there. I expected

Phil to jump in. He didn't. I trampolined back into the conversation. Now Phil has the floor.

There was no way you wanted me to speak at that point. Anybody who's ever listened to this podcast

before knows you like to do a little rundown of all the topics described. You just threw at me the opportunity to ramble for an

unbelievable amount of time. And that's the last thing you want. So absolutely perfect. This is like

Brady and Branch, like anybody else who had the great kismet and telepathy, Brady and Grunk,

Burden, a burden DJ.

I would even go as far as to say Marcus Smart and Jalen Brown on that one stupid backdoor

cut that they hit all the time.
