because I have a bizarre sense of humor. You may know that I wrote a biography of William Wilberforce,

the man who abolished the slave trade in the British Empire, books called Amazing Grace. And in it,

one of his confreras was Josiah Wedgwood, who created a special medal because they believed in using the

culture to advance the cause of abolition. It wasn't just politics. It was the culture.

And speaking of Wedgwood and Nixon, I have a Wedgwood Nixon plate. I don't know if there's any way to get it to register on camera.

It's going to be very hard.

Anyway, it's, I just wanted you to know that there are lots of crazy people in the world,

not just you.

Oh, first of all, Wedgwood has a deep tradition. It was a genre and company that produced these things for Eisenhower and so on.

And it's for those of you who like Nixoniana, which I collect, you can go to eBay and you buy many of these items.

Oftentimes I buy anti-Nixon pop culture items,

posters, bongs, rolling papers, wanted posters, all kind of biker posters because it was in

that kind of psychedelic light, counterculture stuff. I have an enormous collection of

Nixonianna, meaning both things, both for him and against him,

more as a study of pop culture art.
