| 0:00.0 | Hi, my name is Margie and I wanted to share with you my testimony and how God set me free from demonic oppression. |
| 0:07.0 | So at the beginning of my life, you know, I grew up Catholic. I think I had an understanding that I believed in God, |
| 0:15.0 | but didn't really have a super deep relationship with him. And then around 12 years old, my family started |
| 0:21.7 | going to a Christian church, and I started to just think a little bit more about Christ and salvation. |
| 0:27.7 | And at 13 years old, I received Christ and I was baptized at the church we were going to. |
| 0:35.3 | Throughout my teenage years, a few years after that, I did know the Lord, but not in a |
| 0:41.6 | super deep way. And I think I was kind of just confused and also a little rebellious because the |
| 0:47.9 | time of my life that my family kind of gave their lives over to Christ, I was already a teenager. |
| 0:53.1 | So I started to feel like they became a little stricter about certain things. |
| 0:57.3 | And so for me, at that time, I just saw that as negative. And it was hard. I think I just had a lot of rebellion in my heart. |
| 1:04.8 | I just kind of wanted to break free, not really from God, but just from everything he stood for, really. |
| 1:11.4 | So then at 18 years old, I got married, and it was a situation that was kind of negative in my family's life. |
| 1:19.4 | It wasn't something they really were supportive of, and a lot of it was due to my attitude at the time. |
| 1:25.7 | Like I said, the rebellion I had in my heart. |
| 1:28.3 | But either way, I did get married and I also felt like God, you know, really still stood by me and blessed my marriage. |
| 1:36.3 | You know, I'm still married today almost six years and I'm really thankful that God, even during that time I might not have been seeking a space that he was still honoring the |
| 1:45.4 | promise I made to him and that when he saved me when I was 13. |
| 1:51.1 | So now I'm married and I kind of used getting married so young as an excuse to do things I wanted |
| 1:59.7 | to do that maybe I couldn't have done with my parents. |
| 2:01.6 | I still wasn't that crazy. |
| 2:02.6 | For some reason, I still had really strong, like, convictions and values about certain things |
| 2:09.6 | in Christianity, but in other ways I didn't. |
