Welcome to the podcast today, everybody. I am sitting here talking with Carl Ticrib. Welcome, Carl.

Hey, it's a pleasure to be with you. I'm excited for this conversation. Yeah, I think this is a very

healthy conversation for every single Christian because, you know, to have the opportunity to talk with you and certainly, you know, your book, Game of Gods as well, for those of you that don't have the book, we'll get a little summary of what that is. But also, I think what's happening here in our world

is, especially in the Christian church, and maybe you can comment on this, we'll jump in right on

that, is my impression, even as a pastor for 16 years, is that the church has become more and

more sanitized as it relates to believing.

I mean, they might believe that we live in the supernatural, but actually really believing

it in that regard.

I mean, we have to believe it because the Bible says it.

Angels exist, demons exist.

Well, I've never seen one.

I've never seen an angel.

Talk, if you will, about your experience in what you've seen over your ministry, the time of your ministry. And this is the nature of the

supernatural nature of the Bible and how it's kind of been sanitized and maybe dismissed and ignored.

You're making a good point. We have sanitized it. And I think we've

sanitized it because, boy, this is hard for me to maybe express. Maybe we really don't understand

how important the truth of Scripture is. I don't know. Maybe we're too glib about it. We don't fear God. We fear

man. You know, I think there's at least some, you know, to some extent that comes into play.

I've been to lots of crazy places, as you know, we've had some of these conversations. And people

are all, you know, almost always asking, you know, have you seen demons or have you seen this, you know, do you feel the evil? Do you feel the darkness? And I'm not going to excuse if somebody says, hey, I felt something. I don't. I don't. In fact, I don't see in Scripture where it's portrayed how I'm supposed to feel something.
