Now, you look at this, and before we get to it, I want to talk about John Fetterman,

because the excerpt from his book, Tran, the Free Press, is the most riveting thing I have ever read about severe depression.

And I don't know how else to put it.

I mean, you may think Fetterman should resign.

You may think he's a lousy senator.

You may just not like John Fetterman.

But I have never seen anyone, let alone an incumbent politician, right, so grippingly, so brutally.

So it's just so raw about feeling suicidal,

about feeling isolated, about the roots of his childhood.

And after all, severe depression is a deadly disease in this country.

Millions of people spend ultimately zillions of dollars

for medications or long-term therapy or both. So it really, I think if you look at it, it made me change my perception of severe depression.

And Fetterman talked about how if somebody had given him a pill that would end it, he would have taken it right there.
