Friday can't come soon enough, can't it? In Mother's Day weekend as well. I am Derek Hunter. I am

your host. I appreciate you listening, downloading, sharing, sharing on social media,

kind words to friends, whispers, sweet nothings to your your bed mates, whatever you got to do to

spread the word. I appreciate the hell out of it. We got an action pack program for you today

as every day as we analyze the news and let you know what's going on in the world.

Update, quick update on my dad. I just got off the phone with him. He is doing much better. They

have removed the tube from his nose. The x-rays show that he still has poop in him, a lot of poop in

him, but it's moving slowly. Now very slowly through his small intestines. He said it's soft

and he's pooping a lot, which he doesn't do. He's like once to twice a week kind of guy.

For a very long time and that's I guess how you get so stopped up and go to the doctor. All right,

people. He could have dealt with this, should have dealt with this a long time ago. Instead,

he just kind of let it build up and let it build up and let it build up. And so you end up with a

week in the hospital. But it is moving again. He was able to eat some jello and drink some coffee

today, which made him very happy. He's got more energy now on the phone. Sounds good and he's

happy to be able to watch the NHL playoffs, as I said. So he's doing better. The plan is to

hopefully have him discharged Friday. So fingers crossed, prayers still up for that, but so far

so good and thank God for that. And thanks for everybody. For shooting emails and suggestions

and thoughts and prayers and everything I really do appreciate it. And I'll be very relieved

when he's out of the hospital. Just, you know, you just don't want anybody in the hospital ever.

Anyway, so that'll bring a lot of my energy to the curse program. The week in effort review
