One of my favorite sections in the book is a mini profile of Mike Roman, one of the gentleman who has just pardoned last night by President Trump, who unleashed a flurry of

pardons.

Some people I like, some people I don't like, a lot of people I'd never heard of, but Trump's pardoning them all because he's trying to get some justice for all those people who are politically persecuted for various non-crimes that they may have committed trying to work and do good things for President

Trump. But one of the guys, Mike Roman, one of the top researchers in America who won the Georgia

case for President Trump. And I explain all that in the book. I'm very excited about that. And that's

probably my only excuse to talk about it today because it's a monster news day with the government

taking the first steps to reopen. And ladies and gentlemen, this is good news for the Hewitt audience, the Marlow audience, the Salem audience, because it is a full-fledged cave. The Democrats completely gave in. Now, you know, they waited until they had a pretty good week last week. And it was kind of a sad boy show on Friday. And thank you, as always, to Hugh Hugh for having me fill in. Very nice to be in his shoes and his captain's chair for the day and worth a very long drive to and from northern L.A. County down to lovely Orange County to be here. But this is a good one. This is going to be a fun day. And we've got a lot in store for you. Senator Cotton will join me. Vic Mattis will join me, fan favorite. And then I'm going to play for you something that will be a world exclusive on the Hewitt Show. I sat down this morning with Congressman James Comer for over half an hour. And the first place, any of you will be able to hear it. We'll be on the show. In the third hour, of course, we touched on the shutdown. His auto pen investigation

and everything in between will touch on the 50-year mortgage that's been proposed by President

Trump. But the bottom line is the Senate is now taking the first steps to end the government

shutdown with Democrats agreeing to proceed, even without a guaranteed extension of the Obamacare subsidies, which is going to,

or it already has angered many in their caucus.

Even though they have a commitment, there will be some sort of a vote on it, but that was inevitable.
