Is that not freaking awesome? And it's Bailey's birthday weekend, so you can't beat that. Turning 7 is got a rule. I don't

really remember turning 7, but I'm sure I had a blast doing it. Anyway, cats knocked crap over in the background.

All right, let's go to it so we can get through it. I want to talk about the government shutdown

and how the Democrats have no plan. They are boxed in. They are screwed into a corner. It is

wildly amusing to watch. It is enjoyable to watch as these people fumble and stumble their way through everything.

They don't know what to do.

They shut the government down for reasons, and their plan was to fight.

That's their plan, to fight. What kind of a plan is to fight?

Fight is not a plan. Fight is a tactic. Fight for what, fight how? How do you know you've won?

You ask for things you're never going to get so you make it impossible for you to win. There is no escape

hatch. There's no half measure. Democrats have put all their chips on red here or black or

whatever. They're sitting around going, we need these cuts to be restored or else. We need to

protect people's health care. Or else. Or else. You're not going to get

those things. Would you take half of those things? Well, normally people would take half or a quarter

or some portion of those things. But since these people have done this going to threaten people's

lives, oh my God, it's terrible, et cetera, et cetera.

They can't take half of it. They can't accept half a loaf. They have painted themselves into a
