This is Friends of History Debating Society. I'm John Bacheler with Congressman Devonunus,

podcasting Devonunus, author Devonunus, author of Countdown to Socialism. He's on the road in the Midwest.

However, Congress these last days has confused everyone,

chiefly because there's what the newspapers call an intro party squabble. As I understand it,

then President was not able to resolve the conflicts in his own party in the House and in the Senate.

Devonunus is a puzzle. What I know is that Mr. Biden went to Capitol Hill and nothing was resolved.

Do we expect that to continue if the President is not able to persuade his own party to get along in one direction that,

therefore, no one can persuade them? Well, John, there's a lot of moving parts here.

So what happened late last week is they funded the government for two months.

So that got taken off, taken off their plate, at least for two more months.

They failed the past the transportation bill that had bipartisan support.

At least in the Senate had quite a bit of bipartisan support.

So they had to do a temporary measure Friday night to patch it for about a month.

So that basically got pushed, pushed off their plate.

But they're left with this problem. They were trying to sneak through the biggest expansion of

Socialists and Communist policies in our nation's history.

Three and a half trillion dollars worth. It's really five and a half trillion.

Bernie Sanders knows this. All the communists in Congress know this.

And Pelosi, they've been down this, been down this road before,

where they knew that they have to move quickly because if the public actually finds out what's in it,
