Today I talk with State Representative Austin Davis, who is running for Lieutenant Governor

and the State of Pennsylvania.

Representative Davis, it's so nice to have you here.

It's great to be with you.

Why don't we start out by having you tell us a little bit about yourself and what you're

running for?

I'm State Representative Austin Davis and have served in the Pennsylvania General Assembly

for the last five years representing the Mont Valley region right outside of the city

of Pittsburgh.

I come from a working class family and I'm running for Lieutenant Governor here on the Commonwealth

Pennsylvania for two strong reasons.

One, to be a strong governing partner for Josh Shapiro to help him take on those big

fights that I know we're going to have in the months and years ahead, but to also be

a champion for working class families here on Pennsylvania.

That's something that's deeply personal to me.

I'm the proud son of a union bus driver and a hairdresser.

And my parents, like millions of Pennsylvanians and Americans, worked extremely hard to ensure
