When we think about vaccine preventable illnesses, they're only preventable if we have adequate vaccination rates.

And as we see those rates start to decline, you know, across the nation, then we'll see more outbreaks.

As a measles outbreak grows in West Texas, an unvaccinated child has died in the first reported measles death in the

United States in over a decade. Yet the nation's new health secretary, vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy,

Jr., says the outbreak is not unusual. We'll go to Texas to speak with pediatrician Dr. Peter Hotez.

Then as President Trump holds his first cabinet meeting, we look at the role of budget

director, Project 2025 author Russell Vote. We'll speak to Jacobin's Bronco Marcheach,

who says vote is trying to reshape the government so it benefits just the rich.

Then Lebanon after Nasrallah.
