We'll get the latest, then go to Washington, where the U.S. Senate has rejected a motion

by Senator Bernie Sanders to block some arms sales to Israel.

What this extremist government has done in Gaza is unspeakable.

But what makes it even more painful is that much of this has been done with U.S. weapons

and American taxpayer dollars.

We will also get the latest from the UN Climate Summit where civil society just unfurled

the names of Palestinians at a people's plenary who have been killed. They prayed for the dead.

This comes as calls mount for wealthy, polluting nations to pay more for their role in causing the climate crisis.

We'll speak to the chair of the African group of negotiators as well as a top Indian climate activist and a leading climate correspondent for The Guardian.

The International Criminal Court has just issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed

during Israel's assault on Gaza.

In a statement, the ICC said the Israeli leaders had, quote, intentionally and knowingly

deprive the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including

food, water, and medicine and medical supplies,
