Summary
EP #18: A busy news day on the latest Off the Edge with Cam Jordan podcast. Cam reacts to news of the Saints firing offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael plus two other offensive coaches. He also salutes Eagles center Jason Kelce who, reportedly, has told teammates he will retire after 13 NFL seasons. Cam is then joined by his teammate, linebacker Demario Davis. Cam gives Demario his flowers for making the All-Pro team for the fifth time in his career. Demario shares how he’s still training as if he’ll play in the Super Bowl even though the Saints season is over. He also delves into his fandom of LeBron James, and how he uses James as motivation for why he plans to play another four to five years. Demario reflects on his transformation from being burned out and on the brink of retirement at 27 to becoming a perineal All-Pro in his thirties. And, even though he’s made a name for himself as an NFL star, Demario explains why his legacy will extend beyond the gridiron. Cam ends the show by picking his personal All-Pro defensive team.
