We begin with an update on the Delta flight from Minneapolis that crashed, turned upside down,

and caught fire on a Toronto airport runway while attempting to land yesterday.

Delta says all 80 people on board survived, but 21 were taken to hospitals with injuries. Here's Deborah Flint, President and CEO of Toronto Pearson International Airport.

19 of those that were hospitalized are no longer hospitalized.

The two that remain, none face life-threatening injuries.

The remains of the aircraft will remain on the runway while the investigators are performing their reviews.

We expect that that could be about 48 hours.

And so until that time, two of our runways will remain closed, and that is affecting the volume of traffic that we're having.

The U.S. and Russia will appoint high-level teams to negotiate the end of the war in Ukraine

and are working to establish diplomatic channels.

That's what Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at the end of key talks between a U.S. and Russian delegation that excluded Kiev today.

The U.S. delegation, which included Rubio, U.S. Middle East envoy Steve

Whitkoff, and National Security Advisor Mike Walts, suggested that the meeting would be the first

in a series of engagements to bring the war to an end. I think the key, really, in all of this,

is ultimately going to be whether an agreement can be reached with all parties involved

...
