What's up everyone? Welcome back. We have a cool episode for you today because today we're talking about herbs

but actually what we're talking about is how to use those herbs in the kitchen and specifically in the bar.

We are talking drink recipes with herbs with the folks at the Verdon North Carolina and

their guest as they do an interview and so I did a podcast with them I had some

kambuja they had some beers and then we got talking on their podcast about how you can mix those two things

together, the herbs and the alcohol if that's something that you do in your life if you do drink.

And so today we're talking about some really cool and interesting recipes

that you can use herbs for when you're mixing it with a drink and this is not

just alcoholic drinks we're talking all sorts of different infusions as well.

We're now on to, I think, probably the most fun topic I would say,

and that is, how do we make some delicious drinks with the

herbs and plants that were grown in the garden because I think this is something as I kind of

expand out of just growing and do a little more cooking stuff or some drink stuff like this is an area

where it's really fun to explore and I'm not that knowledgeable about how to do it.

This is like there's a whole world of opportunity here. The thing that really got me into kind of playing around with plants being a part of like cocktails and things like that.

We're a couple recipes I saw, one that used lavender flowers

and another that used camelmeal flowers.

So basically you can go to like your local co-op or something and buy lavender flowers by the ounce and they're pretty cheap.

If you look at the price at something like $45 a pound, but you're only getting like an ounce and an ounce is like a large

Fistful or something or maybe a couple large fistfuls, but that's plenty if you want to
