Before the postseason even begins, this Michigan basketball season will go down in the

history books, accomplishing things at the program and in some cases the Big Ten has not seen.

Regular season wins, 29, most ever.

11 and O on the road, best road record ever.

First Big Ten team to win 19 league games, Michigan 19 and 1.

It's okay to be greedy about what's to come, but it's also important to cherish, appreciate,

and recognize what this team accomplished. And Sunday may have been their finest hour.

To compartmentalize everything that was to come, to postpone that

celebration until after the work got done.

And then Michigan went out and knocked off a top 10 ranked rival.

And they did it by 10 points for their 24th double-digit victory of the season.

And it's fitting that so many key cogs in this ballgame were the ones who got honored on senior day on Sunday.

Of course, the May family deserves recognition.

Charlie May honored for his senior day.

Chuck, been battling some injuries, but he and the entire May family have transformed this program, which two years ago this week, lost on the first day of the Big Ten tournament,

and then made the coaching change that has transformed this program into a national championship contender.

How about Yaxel Lendabor? Someone who's been thrown out as the mercenary term.

He's just coming in to get paid big bucks and then increase his draft stock in the NBA.

It'd be tough to find someone who has ingrained himself, immersed himself more into the fabric of

the program and the Michigan community in one year than

Yax O'Lendaborg.

And he came up with one of his finest performances of the season when Michigan needed it with
