Michigan men's basketball is riding a five-season run where they've been to the Sweet

16 every year.

It's the second longest streak in college basketball.

And I can guarantee you that if you

are locked in on Michigan men's basketball, if you love this team, the way that if you're

listening to this, I'm sure you do, you can think about some of those legacy moments. Like when

this Sweet 16 run began back in 2017, when the Wolverines went to the Big Ten tournament after a plane crash

and came out of there with a Big Ten tournament championship when they knocked off a second

seat in Louisville to get to the Sweet 16. Then a year later, a trip all the way to the

national championship game with a round of 32 stunner by Jordan

Poole, the signature moment. Then a season later, Michigan got back to the Sweet 16. Who can

forget the Isaiah Livers poster jam against Florida in Des Moines to get Michigan to that

Sweet 16 again. Then the next year, of course,

nobody had the opportunity. The pandemic ended what could have been an incredible legacy moment

filled run with a freshman in Franz Wagner, a veteran ball club with Xavier Simpson and John Teske.

But boy, that team the next year in the bubble season came back with a

vengeance. There were legacy moments all throughout that season in route to a Big Ten regular

season championship. Think about the comeback at Wisconsin in the first game after a two-week

pause of the program in its entirety. Then Eli Brooks stunning LSU with his dominant offensive

performance. Franz Wagner crushing Scotty Barnes in Florida State. The list went on and on that year.
