But what is your, what's your favorite memory of the past five years working here at DeFector?

I mean, this is something that I don't want to, I'll give the EOR part of the answer first,

because it's what the listeners crave. So it's a job. And most of what I process it as is doing a job. So not all of the memories are like fun. A lot of it is like you get up and like somebody's messaging you on Slack and you're like, oh, sorry, didn't see that. And then you have to do work shit.

Every now and then, the blogs that we run under the Defector Staff headline, where it's basically everybody getting on Dave McKenna's ass because he claimed to have bought a ham off of a side of the

road in France. Stuff like that is the most fun I've ever had at any workplace.

And every now and then when we get to do one of those, I mean, I think that there's this idea that it's always or often like that, which it isn't.

Like, we're just trying to put a website out every day and, you know, getting annoyed with each other and getting annoyed with ourselves, like the way that people do in workplaces.

But it's just an awesome group of people that I love dearly. And the opportunities that we get sometimes to be stupid together and have fun are, it's as lucky as I've ever felt

to, you know, be employed or be in a Slack channel with people. And the fact that it's us and it's never going to be taken away because some shithead gets bored after 18 months is like the greatest gift imaginable.

I will not get too emotional talking about the ham cart blog or the time that Sammer was able to identify a farm trucks.
