I know that you and your family have a history with Afghanistan, and now we have

Donald Trump saying that he's negotiating the end of America's longest war

with Afghanistan that in the abstract seems like a really good thing.

What's really going on here?

Well, I think we were at the early stages of what is like

could it be a fairly long story here.

I very much hope that the Afghanistan war is ending because I think it's been an act of

folly on our part that needed to end long ago.

I hope that the Afghan people will be able to emerge from this nightmare that they have been experiencing
