Amen. You've probably heard about the loyalty of wolves and I was just reading this article about how female wolves are very loyal to their male partners. And I saw this picture that I thought was beautiful. And what the female wolf is doing here is wrapping her entire body around the neck of her male partner. And this is a sign of affection.

The neck is the most vulnerable part of a wolf. It's the part that wolves often attack on other

wolves. And so by her doing this, what she's saying is, I trust you completely as my leader. I'm

entirely loyal to you.

And I thought, I want to wrap my life around my savior,

around my king.

I want to be loyal to him.

And Peter wanted this, but Peter didn't live like this.

But Peter eventually did live like this.

And there's something that happened in Peter

that needs to happen in all of us in order for us to be loyal to Jesus. 100%. You know, where fear,

money, worry, what other people say about us, none of that matters. None of that will sway us

from this passionate loyalty that we have to God.

That's the way to live.

And if we look at John 21, verse 15 through 19,

it shows us where something started to shift in Peter that made him loyal to Jesus.

This is them eating breakfast on the beach with the resurrected Lord.

And it's before the Great Commission. And it says in verse 15, when they had finished breakfast,

Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said to him,

yes, Lord, you know that I love you. He said to him, feed my lambs. He said to him a second time,

Simon, son of John, do you love me? He said to him, yes, Lord, you know that I love you. He said to him,

tend my sheep. He said to him a third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was grieved
