I don't believe any of it. I'm hearing reports that you were drinking during the day yesterday with another news reading colleague.

Perhaps. I think I killed off a few brain cells, to be honest.

It's just we drank really fast, I think.

It was like, you know, mummies had like a two-hour window,

so we had to shove as much in as possible in a small amount of time.

What were you doing?

Well, just to catch up with a beautiful girl, actually, that I've known for 30 years.

We had our first gig in radio together in Country, Victoria, and we thought, you know what,

we need to catch up. It's been way too long. We've worked with one another off and on over the

years, and we squashed it all into one session. Now listen, I would never again interfere in the news or tell you how to write it,

but I would prefer to hear the headline England are going to win the World Cup

because we beat a very bad team six goals to one.

Therefore, we now believe we're going to win the World Cup because he beat a really,

really, really bad cheating team of Panamanians 6-1.
