I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, everyone was excited and I guess people like to use the word closure

when DeWarner's body appears to be.

It's not positively identified, but it appears to be. It's not positively identified,

but it appears to be her body found inside that tank.

And the things that were done to cover it up

leads us all to believe that it was premeditated

and that her husband, who is being charged with murder,

Dale Warner, is the person responsible for this.

So today is going to be the autopsy.

So we are all hoping that we will find out the cause of death, of course, because

that will do a lot to convince people exactly that Dale Warner is the perpetrator.

Perhaps there'll be forensic evidence that ties him to it.

Although we discussed earlier that it'll be tough.

DNA on her body doesn't mean the same thing

as it would in a stranger case,

because their husband and wife, they live together.

So it's not the same smoking gun as it

would be in a lot of cases. But it's still very important. And I think we anxiously await

the results of this autopsy. And, you know, something that we pretty much know what it's going to come back to.

We know it's going to, we pretty much know that it's going to be DeWarner's body.
