I talked to a lot of managers out there and a kind of recurring theme is they want to become executives

because then they can make the decision they can make the choice right they want

to choose because of course to be better at choosing than their

boss, that's the underlying thing.

They're smarter.

Yeah. Yeah, well, be careful what you wish for. You're saying it's not that easy?

Yeah, because executives, individual contributors make choices,

and sometimes decisions. Managers start making decisions.

Managers start making decisions, but Drucker tells us that the executive specific job is decisions,

and decisions are much more than choices, right?
