Recording later than I wanted to do, I thought we'd have some news by today.

Been kind of working the phones and hearing, hey, this may break and this may not, or it may be tonight or tomorrow.

And so, you know, sometimes that happens. Also tell you you to the final book proofs for the dude

are in you know double check make sure that the last changes are made and the file will

head to print you know and excited for you guys to have it excited for you guys to have it but yeah I'm you guys to have it. But yeah, I'm proud of the work.

And the more times that I read it, the more times I look at it, the more eager I am for you guys to partake in the knowledge that I have been able to on earth for you.

And this won't be the last book of this sort. And I learned a lot. I'll be honest with you. I learned a lot. And I remember, and I've told you guys before, Scott Kennedy, got it really helped me get my start in this industry. I remember one day, Scott told me, he goes, you know, Steve, if we've seen it all and done it all,

if there's something out there that interests us, then chances are it'll interest our readers.

And I was so incredibly intrigued with some of the stories that I was able to find, and many of them over 100 years old. And some others not quite as old. old but yeah it's a book that I

think every Mississippi State fan is gonna want to read and for a couple reasons why

number one there's not a lot of information out there about duty noble you

people know the field they don't understand why it's named after duty noble

they don't understand how significant he was as a student, athlete, a coach, and certainly as an administrator. You're going to read all about that. And it's not just about duty. You know, there's some other things that kind of happened during his tenure that impacted the university

that you need to know about.

And as I've shared with you guys before,

it's not just a rah-rah book.

I mean, there's some things in there you're gonna read about,

like, you know what, this sucks.

I can't believe this happened.

Can't believe this person did this.

Or why were we short-sighted in this regard
