In Texas, Sheriff's deputies in Harris County were called to a property for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, they found a 16-year-old

dead. In Oregon, sheriff's deputies took a man into custody for the murder of his estranged

wife who was reported missing weeks ago. Also in Texas, a concerned citizen flagged on police officers

in Houston regarding an alleged hostage situation.

And in Florida, an elderly man was shot and killed over loud music on Thanksgiving Day.

Last Tuesday at around 3.30 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office in Texas responded to a home on Stone Creek Cork in the Tombell area for a reported shooting.

When deputies arrived at the property, they were

brought out to a barn where a group of teenagers were trying to save their 16-year-old friend. However,

their efforts were in vain. Once paramedics arrived, they pronounced the victim dead. His name has not

been released at the time of this writing.

Once detectives had arrived on the scene and started talking with the group of teenagers,

they all had a pretty consistent story.

During the evening and early morning hours, the teenagers were all hanging out in the barn

while drinking some alcohol.
