First off, I hope everyone had a safe and fun Thanksgiving.

I hope you shared it with your family, your friends, and your loved ones, and just had a good time. Eating some good food, watching some football, you know, the fun stuff.

But now that it's over, we're back to business here. We got some great stories for you today,

so let's jump into them. In Florida, police responded to a reported shooting at a home in Fort Lauderdale.

In Texas, police announced the arrest of a suspected shooter in a road rage incident from early November. In New Mexico, two people got into a verbal altercation at a tavern in Albuquerque, which left one of them dead.

And back in Texas, police in Fort Worth responded to a report of disturbance at a home

where they found a man dead outside of his truck. All of this coming at you right now. Here,

on Sword and Scale Daily. On Monday, November 25th at around 137 a.m., deputies with the Broward County Sheriff's

Office in Florida responded to a home in Fort Lauderdale for a reported shooting.

When deputies arrived at the house, located on the 1,200 block of Southwest 28th Road, they

were directed inside, where a woman appeared to have

sustained a gunshot wound to the neck.

Deputies observed that a man was holding a blanket against the woman's neck.

They advised the man to move away so they could get medical in to help provide for a state,

but they later stated that the man was hesitant to do so.

When paramedics arrived and began tending to the victim's injuries, she told them that the shooting was accidental and that her husband, 27-year-old Sean Woolard, didn't mean to shoot her.

While paramedics were rushing the victim to the hospital, deputies spoke with Sean.

He explained that they'd been out looking for their cat earlier in the day,
