In California, sheriff's deputies were called to a home during the early morning hours for a family disturbance.

Upon arrival, a one-year-old child was found dead and decapitated.

Also in California, a man went to a grocery store and stole some Legos before leading law

enforcement on what would be a fatal high-speed chase.

And in New York, a man was filmed setting a sleeping woman on fire in a train in Brooklyn.

All of this coming at you right now.

On Friday, December 20th at around 4.15 a.m., deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office responded to the 7,500 block of Rassalus Way for reported domestic disturbance.

Once deputies had arrived on the scene, they found a woman

outside of the home who stated that her husband, 28-year-old Andre Dembski, had assaulted her and

her mother. EMS was called to the scene after an evaluation. The older female was taken to the

hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The woman who lived at the home told deputies that her one-year-old son was inside with her

husband and she feared that he could be injured as her husband had thrown the infant earlier

in the scuffle.

Based on this information alone, deputies decided to force entry into the home and locate

Andre.

As deputies made their way through the home, they located Andre in a back bedroom,

barricaded behind the door.
