recording recording. Hey, friendos, this is Luke. Welcome to a Monday afternoon edition of TBTL coming to you today from beautiful Los Angeles, California. And by beautiful, I mean, God is taking the leak on our faces just to let you know how wet it is here in L.A.

Yesterday in downtown L.A. they got a quarter of their yearly rainfall total in one day. And it's actually supposed to supposed to get worse. So anyway, thanks a lot weather.

Nonetheless, we have a fun show in store for you today. Sorry, I'm starting it off on that note.

Coming up in a bit, we're going to play you the second night of our TBTL live from Seattle shows that we did at the Columbia City Theater. We called this one electric Bougaloo was the program where at the end, a couple of listeners had a surprise wedding on the air.

Jen saying I had the time of my life with the band, the lonely forest, all kinds of amazing stuff happened. And we took an informal vote a while ago on favorite shows. And this one was right up near the top. So that's why we thought we would play it for you.

This whole week we'll be bringing you some awesome TBTL memories. A lot of them Christmas related, Christmas music being discussed, Christmas movies, and Christmas party where fondue was the food being served.

So anyway, that's what's going to happen this week. I'll be checking in briefly from LA and then playing some amazing, amazing archival stuff from the TBTL treasure trove.

Just an update on how our reality show wedding went last night. It was, it was very fun. It was, it was not something I will soon forget. Van, did you have fun?

Yeah, I had a great time at the wedding. It was really beautiful and a lot of Bollywood dancing going on.

You know what you just said there is actionable because you, my friend, signed the release. That Tory spelling handed you saying you would not talk about this.

I really tried as hard as I could to avoid them. And then I was literally cornered. One of the guys came up to me and said, did you sign one of these? And I said,

you know, I did. And he was like, okay, what number were you? And then I was like, three. And he was like, we're on 600.

Oh, well, I managed to avoid the release police. So I didn't sign anything. So I can say whatever I want about the Tory spelling, whatever her boyfriend's name is Dean Mulroney or something.

The thing that we were at, and I'll be honest with you, it was super fun. And they seemed totally nice actually. Things that were interesting or surprising for me about the Tory spelling, right?

Okay, so the backstory is some friends of ours got married and they were trying to figure out how to pay for it because weddings be hell expensive. And they found out that there was this reality show where Tory spelling in our husband will basically plan your wedding and then it gets paid for.

And so they did that. And that's what we went to last night. And it was our friends are Indian American. So it was very like Indian ceremony.

But the spelling was really into the planning of this wedding. And she was actually doing a lot of the like last minute decorating and not being filmed for a lot of it. Like she was just actually really into it. So that was kind of cool.

For some reason that actually sort of renewed my faith in America in some bizarre way because it, you know, and their kids were super cute and their kids were just like hanging out playing with people and the husband seemed like a really nice fellow.

So anyway, that was, that was kind of awesome. We stood. Oh, this is something. We stood in the very last row of the seats, thinking that it would mean we would be the least on TV.

But of course, when the bride comes down the aisle, the thing they want to see is everyone's reaction. And it turns out the last row is really the front row of reacting to the bride.

So we ended up getting filmed way more than we were expecting. So I guess it'll be on like oxygen or something in a few months. So look for it.
