Hi friends I'm Annie F Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on Earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

Each month we get to read all four books, so go ahead, subscribe today, join us as we read the Gospels.

We finish reading all four books at the end of the year and then we start in January

reading one chapter a day. But for today here's how this works. I'm going to read three chapters to you.

along in your own Bible and then I'll pray and that is it. Today is December 17th

day 17 and I will be reading at Matthew 13 through 15 and this month I'm reading in the NASB.

Matthew 13. On that day Jesus had gone out of the house and was sitting by the sea and large crowds

gathered to him so he got into a boat and sat down and the whole crowd was standing on the

beach and he told them many things in parables saying,

behold, the sower went out to sew.

And as he sewed, some seeds fell beside the road.

And the birds came and ate them up.

Others fell on the rocky places where they did not have much soil. And they sprang up. Others fell on the rocky places where they did not have much soil and they sprang up

immediately because they had no depth of soil. But after the sun rose, they were scorched and

because they had no root they withers away. Others fell among the thorns,

and the thorns came up and choked them out.

But others fell on the good soil and yielded a crop,

some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty times as much the one who has ears let him

here and the disciples came up and said to him why do you speak to them in

parables and Jesus answered them to you it has been granted to know the mysteries

of the kingdom of heaven but to them it has not been granted for whoever has to
