0:00.0	Hi friends I am Annie F Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
0:09.0	These are the stories of Jesus Christ life on Earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals,

0:16.2	Each month we get to read all four books, so go ahead and subscribe today.

0:25.6	2024. So here's how this works I will read three chapters to you. You can
0:30.3	listen or read along in your own Bible and then I'll pray and that is it.
0:34.0	So today is December 16th and I will be reading Matthew chapters 10 through 12 and this month
0:40.9	I am reading from the NASB.
0:43.4	Matthew 10.
0:47.3	Jesus summoned his 12 disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to
0:51.9	cast them out and to heal every disease and
0:54.0	every sickness. Now the names of the 12 apostles are these. The first, Simon, who is
0:58.5	called Peter and his brother Andrew, and James, the son of Zebedee and his brother John, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew
1:06.7	the Tax Collector, James, the son of Alpheus and Thaddeus.
1:10.3	Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, the one who also betrayed him.
1:14.0	These 12 Jesus sent out after instructing them saying,
1:18.0	Do not go on a road to Gentiles and do not enter a city of Samaritans,
1:22.0	but rather go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.
1:24.8	And as you go preach saying the kingdom of heaven is cut near,
1:29.0	heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons.
1:34.3	Freely you received, freely give.
