In Florida, sheriff's deputies responded to a home after a man called and reported a dead body.

In Michigan, a man called law enforcement

after receiving a strange voicemail from his neighbor. And in Texas, landscapers arrived at a city

owned property to finish a job and ended up finding a woman's body in the tall grass.

All of this come in a shoot right now., here on Sword and Scale Daily.

On Monday, December 9th at around 8.22 a.m., deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office

responded to the 8,000 block of Beattie Grove Drive in West Chase,

Florida, after receiving reports of a dead body inside of a home. Now, according to the reporting

party, who later identified themselves as 36-year-old Russell Moore, would tell dispatchers the

following, quote, there's a dead body here. I had to put her down. When responding deputies arrived at the home and made their way inside,

they made contact with Russell who was detained at that time.

As deputies continued making their way through the home,

they discovered the body of a woman under what's been reported as a pile of bloody blankets.

Right away, deputies noted that the victim had been dead for at least a few days by the time

they arrived.

This was noted by the state of decomposition the victim was in, with deputies later writing

in a report that the victim displayed signs of marbling throughout visible areas of the body.
