Now, one of the reasons, David, that I was interested in having a discussion on the contact

deep movement is because it extends to the very core of UFOs.

We've always had this element that claims, hey folks, we don't just see things, we

experience them, we've met the people or entities or beings behind them.

Well, this indeed seems to be the case, though.

I guess we'll ask our guests, what is the earliest of the contact he reports? Because I'm guessing they started in the 50s, not in the 40s, or am I wrong?

Well, it's very interesting. That's something that Nicholas Redfern, author of Contactees,

a history of alien human interaction will be talking about. And that is that, yes, George Adamski

said he had his contact in 1952, but you had people like Daniel

Frye, who claimed that he was taken around the country in a flying saucer back in

1940.

So maybe it was...

Oh, that's 49.

Okay.

Maybe it's one of those one-upsmanship things.

And what I gather, Fry only claims have had one contact.

Am I wrong or am I right about that?
