Hello and welcome to a thousand natural shocks, a bad with money podcast.

I'm your host, Gabe Dunn.

And I'm in sort of a strange mood because I'm grappling with a few ideas. One is that there's so much

information coming at us and it's hard to know what to do with any of it. And I think it's a

privilege that I don't feel particularly targeted by an awareness campaign that I feel like,

well, surely everyone must know what's going on at this point so what good is it to make

videos explaining it or to show clips of brutality by ICE and CPB and DHS what you

know uses it to keep convincing people that what's happening is really happening

or that they're on the wrong side of history or that more and more bad stuff is coming.

But I have to think about my own radicalization and the ways in which I was new to this or came to

this after a particular event. You know, it's not that I've changed my stances, but I've become more

informed about Palestine. I truly was someone who never thought about it, and then I started

thinking about it or eight

months ago when I didn't really know that much about immigration and now I do if there's hope for
