Hey, I wanted to bring up a couple of things. First off, that trade only adds about $13 million onto the Yankees salary cap. They're looking to reset this year. They're only

a plus 13 because the A-Rod money came off and losing Castro's money, which is great.

What if they're able to move Ellsbury and half of his contract?

Now they're down another $11, $12 million.

What are they going to do with that money out of pitcher or two?

Tony, I'd like to get your thoughts on that. Okay, so we were just discussing who they are inquiring after today, right? Yeah, so I, Garrett Cole, the pirates, apparently, is someone that the Yankees have expressed interest in. It's unclear if the pirates are going to move them, but the Yankees are out there to get pitching. I also saw a comment from Hal Steinbrenner saying that they're not done. They're not done spending. They've got plenty of money and that they're going to leave no stone unturned. These are just some of the comments that Steinbrenner has made in recent days since they picked up Stanton. So again, I sort of look at the whole thing and I say, which are confidence level in the Red Sox versus the confidence level that Yankees

fans have in their organization right now. Compare those two things.

What does it feel like the Yankees passed you quick?

Oh, God, they blew by you.

It was just a year ago. It's like you have this good young team up and coming.

You'll be around for a nice long window and the Yankees still haven't bonded out.

The next thing you know, they go to game six of the ALCS. You're out in the first round again.

And now we're in the offseason. It feels like you're what? You're going to lose the division by six games? Like, that was quick. Sure. Yep. And again, and this isn't your typical Yankee, you know, buying free agency and have a five-year, four-year window, three-year window, whatever. these are young guys that are going to be there a while.

The Red Sox have no answer for this.

I just wanted to say, do you realize that Patriots would have already clinched the vision and had the number one overall seat if it wasn't for bad coaching. Like, what do you mean? Well, if you look at the Buffalo Colts game, Colts have the ball back. They got 50-something seconds on the clock, and instead of trying to run more than one play, they said I'll let the clock run down, Venetary misses the field goal. Then you got the Pittsburgh Baltimore game. So Mike, hey Mike, can I stop you? Sure. Does it really matter if you clinch in week 14, 15, 17? I mean, you're going to clinch. It's a foregone conclusion. What does this matter? I guess it's just pointing out how bad the league really is and how good it makes the Patriots chances look at, there are chances look when you look at the rest of the coaching in the league. No question, Mike. The coaching blows. It's so bad, and thanks for the call. When you get to see the league, I told you, the thing at the end of the game last night in Pittsburgh, with Baltimore Pittsburgh, Flacco fumbles it out of bounds with eight seconds left, and no one knew that there was a runoff or that they round the clock or whatever they ended up doing. Not that I knew exactly either, but when he fumbled out of bounds,

When they took over, it was about three and a half minutes to go. They're up. I didn't mind them throwing because you got to stay aggressive there. You know, I just think you're stuck with Joe Flacco and no one to throw to.

So what are you going to do? I mean, they were gashing Pittsburgh on the edges, right? But I don't know how Pittsburgh played that situation. If I'm Pittsburgh, I load up against the run and say, go ahead. Have Flacco throw to one of these bozos and see if they can beat us that way, and they can't. See, but you know what? I knew they were going to throw one first down. I knew that, because again, I said Harbao's not going to run the ball here.
