In Florida, Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported stabbing at a home.

They had been called to a month prior for a domestic battery.

In Texas, police announced the arrest of a woman months after a newborn baby was found dead.

And in New Mexico, police responded to a local laundromat after being notified about a possible shooting.

Last Thursday at around 1 a.m., deputies with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office in Florida, responded to a home on the 2,600 block

of Hibbert Trail in Chuliotta for a reported stabbing. According to the reporting party,

they were in the house when the attack occurred and had sustained stab wounds in the attack.

Once responding deputies had arrived on the scene, they made entry into the home and found

a woman dead from what

appeared to be sharp force injuries.

The victim was later identified as 40-year-old Kristen Stevens.

They also discovered a 16-year-old boy in the home, who was thankfully unharmed.

When homicide investigators arrived at the scene and started their investigation, they spoke

with the man who was attacked at Kristen's home and was the one to call 911 after the attack. He told investigators

that the suspect in the attack was Kristen's ex-husband, 42-year-old James Lindsay. The man was
