In California, Sheriff's deputies responded to a home for a medical call and found a young

teenager on the verge of death from a vicious axe

attack. In Oregon, nearly a month after a child was reported missing and found dead, new information

reveals that the child is believed to have been murdered. And in Colorado, sheriff's deputies

discovered human remains in an unincorporated area of Boulder County back in September.

They've since identified the victim and made an arrest in the case.

Last Thursday at around 8 p.m., deputies with the Ventura County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported medical call on the 400 block of G.N. Court in Newbury Park, California.

When deputies arrived on the scene, paramedics were tending to a teenage boy and preparing him for transport to a local area hospital. Deputies noted that the teenager appeared to have suffered

some significant head injuries with deep gash-type wounds. Paramedics were able to get the teenager
