Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, George Zimmerman, the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin,

is back in the news.

This time, for filing a lawsuit against Trayvon Martin's family.

A shooting in the Naval Shipyard in Pearl Harbor left three dead, including the shooter,

who was an active duty sailor on a submarine docked at the base.

In Connecticut, two teenage siblings were shot and killed by their mother's live-in boyfriend

after an argument about indoor smoking.

Finally, in Tennessee, a year-long neighbor's feud about mowing the lawn ends in a fatal shooting.

On Wednesday, December 4th, George Zimmerman, the man who shot and killed a 17-year-old Trayvon

Martin in 2012, filed a lawsuit against the family of Trayvon Martin.

He is also suing a publishing firm, as well as a law enforcement agency, for a whopping

$100 million.

His claims against the defendants are for defamation and malicious prosecution.

On February 26th, 2012, Trayvon Martin was walking back from a store after purchasing

a package of skittles and a drink.

As he walked through a gated neighborhood, George Zimmerman was on neighborhood patrol

duty.

He observed the teen and considered him to be suspicious.
