Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, in Brookside, Alabama, police arrested a kidnapping suspect

and rescued his victim after a car chase and an arm standoff.

In Boston, a mother allegedly threw her children off the roof of a parking garage, then jumped

off herself in a suspected murder suicide on Christmas Day.

Finally, Oregon authorities suspended the search for 20-year-old Alison Waterson, who

was reported missing last Monday.

Initially, investigators believed that Waterson vanished while hiking near North Plains with

her boyfriend Ben Garland.

However, investigators now say there's no evidence that Waterson had been hiking in the

area.

On Sunday, police in Brookside, Alabama, took 52-year-old Sean E. Sanders into custody,

following a chase and an arm standoff.

He is expected to be charged with multiple felonies, including kidnapping, assault, and

attempted murder.

The incident began around 2.45 pm on Sunday, when a witness called 911 to report a kidnapping

in progress.

The caller stated that he saw a black man trying to force a white woman into a wooded area.

In the suspect notice the witness, he instead forced the victim into a white van.
