Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, a former Texas police officer has been charged with

the murder of his wife of less than a year who also had a restraining order against him.

In North Carolina, a paramedic was charged with a 2018 poisoning murder of his wife.

He is alleged to have made his wife ingest eyedrops, leading to cardiac arrest.

Finally, the body of missing Texas mother, Heidi Brasard, has been discovered in the trunk

of a car owned by her longtime friend.

A baby believed to be that of missing Margot Kerry was found alive and well inside a nearby

home.

A.O.com reports that 45-year-old Jason Bragg McIntosh was charged with capital murder

in connection with the death of his estranged wife, 31-year-old Megan Montgomery.

On December 1st, Montgomery was discovered shot multiple times in a mountain-brook parking

lot.

Surveillance video from a restaurant, taken a few hours earlier, showed McIntosh approach

a table where Montgomery was sitting with friends, grabbing her neck and shoulder, and

walking her out of the restaurant.

McIntosh and Montgomery married on February 2nd, 2019 in New York City.

McIntosh worked as a police officer with the Hoover Police Department and had previously

worked for the neighboring jurisdictions, mountainbrook, and Birmingham.
