Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, an Indiana woman was sentenced to four years in prison

for reckless homicide related to a 2018 car crash at a school bus stop which killed three

young children.

Police in Cedar Park, Texas believe that missing mother Amber Gordon is no longer alive

based on information found in the house she shared with Samuel Bird, her common law husband.

Finally, in California, Gugger and Nay Harris, Jr. was arrested for the 1998 killing of

Terry Cheek, his stepmother.

Investigators believe that Harris, Jr. committed the crime in conjunction with his father and

his nephew.

In 1999, an unrelated man was wrongfully convicted of the murder, but the charges against him

were dismissed last year based on new DNA evidence.

WSBT News 22 reported that on Wednesday, 24-year-old Alissa Shepard was sentenced to four

years in prison to be followed by three years of house detention, preceded by three years

of probation.

Shepard was found guilty on three charges of felony reckless homicide, one count of criminal

recklessness, and one count of passing a school bus causing injury.

The charges stem from a fatal vehicular collision that killed three children.
