In Birmingham, Alabama, police rescued a kidnapped woman from an apartment complex, and

she led them to the location of a female homicide victim.

An Arizona father is sentenced to eight years for killing a man who allegedly tried to break

into his daughter's locked bathroom stall.

Finally, we have updates on the fatal stabbing of Tessa Majors, the investigation into last

week's Jersey City shooting, and the court hearing for Derek Areisha Brown, the woman

charged with kidnapping and murder of three-year-old Camille Cupcake McKinney.

Police in Austin, Texas are asking for the public's assistance in the search for a missing

mother and her two-week-old daughter.

Heidi Brassard was last seen around 7.30am on the morning of Thursday, December 12th.

She was dropping off her son at Cowan Elementary School in South Austin.

She was captured on surveillance camera and had her newborn daughter, Mark Goh, with

her.

Brassard was reported missing later the same day by the father of her children, Shane Carey.

Harry told police that he returned home from work at 2pm and found Heidi and Mark Goh

gone.
