And to give context to Courtney's story, for who have not heard it. Courtney's story begins when she is young.

She's grieving the loss of her father and she is drawn to someone who seems to be strong,

protective, you know, ready to build a life. She needs her ex-husband through a trusted friend,

which gives this relationship, this very early sense of safety. And in the beginning,

he looks like a good partner. He's hardworking. He's helpful, family-oriented,

and really serious about the future. And they build a life together really quickly.

They fix up a home and settle into what seems like a normal young family.
