episode to our Survivor's Story with Pierre. It was an older story that we re-released. And Pierre's

story is about psychological abuse. It's about what happens when someone enters your life

looking like they're caring, they're helpful and loving, and then slowly turns your empathy,

turns Pierre's empathy, your patience and your identity against you. And it's about what happens

when the relationship stops being a place where you can be yourself and it becomes a place where

you are constantly trying to prove that you yourself are not the problem. So today we are going

to be talking about intermittent reinforcement. We're going to be talking about the power of we

triangulation, identity erosion, and the fear, obligation, guilt, and shame that kept Pierre stuck in this relationship.

So for those of you who have not heard Pierre's story, Pierre met someone who came on

strong, and she was really kind to him. She cooked for him. She helped him. She connected with his

child. And Pierre thought she was perfect.
