Find Debra with my husband's number one priority before he passed away. So I always will always fight for him.

I just don't want people to forget about her. That's why we have, you know, vigils and we hold posters up of her.

Because we don't want people to forget that, you know, she's still missing.

I would like my mother-in-law just getting older now and, you know, and I wish that we could give her closure, you know?

Because I think Debra deserves that.

She would never have left her kids. She just wouldn't have. And I think if she was ever planning on that, I firmly believe she would have told me. I do.

Because she knows I would have taken anything she told me and it would have. And I would have kept it. I would have never let Louis know where she was.

But she didn't tell me. And she didn't take a purse and she didn't take her money and she didn't take her credit cards and she didn't take anything of her.

So how far could she have gone?

On June 20, 2000, 30-year-old Debra Mello left her doctor's office and got into the family car with her husband, Louis.

As they drove along Route 18 in Waymeth, Massachusetts, Louis says that they got into an argument and Debra asked to be let out of the vehicle.

Louis claims that she got out of the car without her purse and the items she had purchased from the doctor's office.

Debra has never been seen or heard from again.
